About the Book
Many parents are concerned about the lack of help they receive from the school when their child is being bullied. It seems that almost everybody has a bullying story to tell about a child being bullied. What they all appear to have in common is the difficulties experienced when trying to get effective action from the child’s school. Many people feel as if they are being “fobbed off” by schools and feel utterly helpless knowing that their child will continue to be bullied.
A few schools are tackling bullying very effectively by creating a whole school culture which rejects bullying. The children in these schools feel safe and secure. It can be done and has been done. What we need now is for it to be done in every school in Australia.
